David Halphin - Partner

Dave’s practice areas include Real Estate matters, Landlord-Tenant, Trucking Law, Personal Injury, Family Law, Traffic and other Criminal matters, including Driving While Intoxicated (DWI), Driving While Suspended or Revoked, and other related traffic matters.

Dave is a native of eastern Jackson County, attending Blue Springs High School. He attained the rank of Eagle Scout and earned his God and Country emblem. In 1993 he graduated from Culver Stockton College with a bachelor’s degree in Science, with an emphasis in marketing and economics. He attended the University of Missouri at Kansas City School of Law, graduating in 1998 with a Juris Doctorate degree.

He has been active in public service where he was elected Mayor of Grain Valley for two terms. Before that he served on the Board of Zoning Adjustments, the Planning and Zoning Board, and as an Alderman for Ward II. In addition he has been a liaison to the Grain Valley Chamber of Commerce for the Board of Aldermen and has served on the Board as a co-chair for the Grain Valley Fair. Currently he serves on the Grain Valley TIF Commission as Vice Chairman and as a Director on the Board for the Grain Valley Chamber of Commerce. He has donated his legal time for non-profit organizations such as People for Parks, Chamber of Commerce, and the Grain Valley Athletic Association. He is active in the community with business and sports programs, and has coached little league football with the GVAA since 2002. Dave has been described as having a true passion for his family, his work, and the community.
